3D Spinal Decompression

Supporting your Recovery

WHAT TO EXPECT AFTER YOUR TREATMENT

Starting spinal decompression is the first step in helping your body move and feel better. Like any new treatment or exercise, your body needs time to adjust.

Think of it like returning to exercise.

After time off, the first few sessions often cause some soreness. That doesn’t mean anything is wrong – it simply means your body is adapting. The same principle applies here.

Like increasing weights in the gym – controlled progressive loading leads to better results. Our Approach:

➔ Start gently – Increase intensity step by step.

➔ Avoid overloading too quickly

Early on, it’s normal to notice some changes as your body begins to adapt.

Normal:

✔ Mild soreness or stiffness

✔ Temporary increase in awareness

✔ Settles within 24 – 48 hours

Let us know if:

✗ Pain is sharp or worsening

✗ Symptoms escalate

✗ Pain doesn’t settle after a few days

“Progress comes from the right amount of challenge – not too little, and not too much. ”

Early on, it’s normal to notice some changes as your body begins to adapt.

With consistent treatment:

➔ Tissues adapt to decompression forces

➔ Sensitivity reduces over time

➔ Your body becomes stronger and more resilient

Most people notice:

✔ Improved mobility

✔ Reduced discomfort

✔ Better tolerance for daily activities

Recovery takes time. Adaptation happens over weeks, not days.
Consistency is key.

Our goal:

➔ Improve movement

➔ Build tolerance to load

➔ Return you to normal activity with confidence

After Your Treatment

To support your progress:

✔ Stay hydrated

✔ Stay lightly active (walking is ideal)

✔ Complete your after-care exercises

✔ Continue with your treatment plan

Early on, avoid:

✗ Sudden increases in activity

✗ Heavy lifting or high-impact exercise

AFTER CARE & EXERCISE GUIDE

This guide is designed to support your progress during your spinal decompression treatment plan.

Think of spinal decompression as a reset for your spine — helping to reduce pressure and restore movement. The exercises and daily habits in this guide act as ongoing ‘spinal hygiene’, supporting mobility, stability, and long-term function.

This guide will walk you through:

➔ Simple daily habits to support your treatment.

➔ A structured exercise program to improve mobility & stability – targeted to your lower, mid back, & neck.

Together, treatment & movement work to improve how your spine moves and responds to everyday activities.
