Shockwave Therapy
We offer the latest shockwave therapy technology for chronic tendon and soft tissue injuries — reducing pain, accelerating healing, and restoring movement.
What is Shockwave Therapy?
Shockwave Therapy is non-invasive, highly-effective and relatively pain-free solution to treat pain in the feet, legs, shoulders and back.
It promotes regeneration and reparative processes of the bones, tendons and other soft tissues by increasing the blood flow within the affected area, stimulating cell regeneration and healing, and decreasing local factors which can cause pain.
Shockwave Therapy can complement your movement, rehab and recovery goals, reducing pain, promoting tissue regeneration and restoring function.
What does treatment involve?
Treatment is performed directly on the skin, but is non-invasive. The time allotted for a specific treatment will depend on the area and depth of the tissue being treated.
This will normally fall within 2-4 minutes per area treated and often used conjunction with other treatments or exercises from your practitioner.
In most cases between 4-7 sessions are required in a course of therapy. Many patients also report relief after their first session.
Effective treatment for a range of musculoskeletal conditions, chronic tendinopathies, sports-related injuries, bursitis, plantar fasciitis and more.

Frequently Asked Questions
-
Shockwave therapy (Extracorporeal shockwave therapy or ESWT) is non-invasive, highly-effective and relatively pain-free. There is no down-time and depending on your condition you may also be able to continue to exercise and keep training whilst undergoing treatment.
-
Shockwave therapy (Extracorporeal shockwave therapy or ESWT) is a gentle, quick non-surgical treatment that helps eliminate heel pain from plantar fasciitis. This treatment is currently one of the most advanced and highly-effective therapy available for plantar fasciitis.
-
Shock wave therapy (Extracorporeal shockwave therapy or ESWT) is a non-invasive treatment, relieves the pain of peripheral nerve damage and promotes local arterial remodeling and cellular regeneration.
Shockwave therapy has shown to be very effective for speeding up the healing process and reducing neuropathy pain more quickly than other methods.
